Vintage Green Glass Fishing Floats

authentic + hand blown green glass ball marine fishing net float/buoy
this float was beach-combed from the Oregon coast between the 1950’s – 60’s

historical reference
- these floats were once used by fishermen in many parts of the world to keep their fishing nets, as well as longlines or droplines afloat
- most floats are shades of green because that is the colour of glass from recycled sake bottles (especially after long exposure to sunlight)
